Frequently Asked Questions

More About Intensive Inpatient Programs

Explore Treatment Centers

Arizona is best known as the home of the Grand Canyon. When it comes to luxury rehab centers, it doesn’t fall short. There are many treatment centers that offer evidence-based holistic treatments, 12-Step programs and in one instance, an innovative program called The Sierra Model.

Arizona is home to the desert, and many luxury treatment centers are located in the tranquil arid lands of the desert, offering complete escapism from day-to-day life and bad habits. There are many national park reserves located here, too, including the Saguaro National Park, Monument Valley and the Petrified Forest.

What happens after I detox from substances?

After detox, it is typically the time to begin your rehab and recovery journey. This can look different for everyone, depending on the situation, but it can include residential rehab, outpatient rehab, sober living, etc. It’s important for some type of treatment to follow detox for sustainable recovery.

How long is inpatient rehab?

Inpatient rehab typically lasts for a minimum of 1 month, but some clients choose to enroll in longer programs, or extend their stay after they arrive if they feel they need more time in treatment. Some centers offer shorter programs, but 4 weeks is generally the industry standard as clients need enough time to work through deeply held issues and establish healthy habits that will help them in recovery.

Do rehabs accept Medicare or Medicaid?

Some, but not all, rehabs accept Medicare or Medicaid to help cover the costs of treatment. Check a center’s website to see what payment options they offer, or call their admissions number for more details.

Do rehabs offer online programs?

It’s now becoming increasingly popular for rehabs to offer online programs to increase access to programming for who can’t physically attend treatment. Online rehab may include many of the same components as in-person treatment, such as individual and group counseling sessions and complementary therapies, but is delivered in a virtual format.

What kind of clinicians and therapists are on staff at rehabs?

Rehabs may staff a wide variety of therapists, depending on the programming they offer. At an inpatient treatment center, you might work with medical doctors, registered nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed therapists, counselors, or social workers.

I don’t have insurance but I need to go to rehab. What can I do?

If you don’t have private insurance, some rehabs accept Medicare or Medicaid. You can check this by looking at a rehab’s website to see what forms of insurance they accept or calling them for further information. Most rehabs also offer payment plans and financing options, and some have scholarship funds available.
