About Annie's House
Annie’s House is a specialized treatment center for individuals with mental health issues and co-occurring substance use disorder. Annie's House believes in helping individuals overcome addiction and trauma using 12-Step philosophy and holistic therapy. The program uses a unique therapy called accelerated reprocessing therapy (ART). “ART was designed to treat people with mental health problems and addictions and usually consists of about 15 sessions. There are studies that conclude recovery can occur in as little as three or four sessions, depending on the event or traumas and the duration of it.” Accelerated reprocessing therapy is also useful for PTSD, panic attacks, addictions, and chronic pain. In addition to ART therapy, the experienced staff also offers experiential therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family counseling, and psychodrama therapy.
