Altus Rehab & Wellness Center
About Altus Rehab & Wellness Center
When substance use begins to affect emotional balance, daily functioning, and a person’s sense of self, Altus Rehab offers detox and residential care that feels more restorative than restrictive. With 12 beds across 2 private Encino estates, Altus provides a discreet, comfortable setting for executives, professionals, and people seeking greater privacy. Support for co-occurring conditions can include disordered eating when it appears alongside addiction rather than as a primary diagnosis.
Address What Keeps Progress Stuck
Altus takes an approach that addresses addiction, mental health, trauma, and the patterns that keep people stuck. Clients take part in individual, group, family, and couples therapy, along with psychoeducation and nutrition support. Yoga, meditation, sound baths, and bodywork help calm the nervous system, while talk therapy can uncover root causes, strengthen emotional regulation, and prepare people for more sustainable sobriety after treatment.
Recharge in Comfort and Privacy
Altus gives clients a choice of private or shared rooms in luxury homes designed for comfort and privacy. Days can include chef-prepared meals, tidy living spaces, time by the pool or spa, and room to move, breathe, and unwind in quiet courtyards and gardens. Clients can also leave for approved outings, and the Los Angeles location keeps airport access and travel logistics relatively manageable.
Keep Healing with Tools for Daily Life
After residential treatment, Altus helps clients continue their transformation through an alumni program and practical tools for daily life. Clients discharge with clear next steps for therapy or outpatient treatment, plus a relapse-prevention plan, emotional regulation strategies, and nervous-system tools they can use anywhere. Family involvement can also continue after discharge, helping loved ones rebuild trust and support recovery at home.

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
