About Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation
Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation Services (AARS) is a clinically controlled Level 3.1 low-intensity residential treatment center. Their client-centered program offers 24/7 support during substance use treatment. The program incorporates a 12-Step philosophy and the pursuit of one's own personal spirituality. Residents can engage in counseling, group therapy, recreational therapy, and work therapy in a supportive environment.
In addition to treatment, Clients participate in 3 cafeteria-style group meals a day. A licensed nutritionist plans the meals, and each person's particular dietary requirements are taken into consideration. Throughout the day, clients can also choose from a selection of refreshments, including fresh fruits and vegetables.
Stable housing also plays an important role during recovery and AARS can provide additional transitional housing for graduates of the residential program. Transitional-housing is gender-specific with comfortable shared bedrooms shared with 1 other roommate.
