About Adapt Programs Cleveland
Throughout various locations in the Houston area, ADAPT Programs provides multiple levels of outpatient detox and treatment programs for individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Their Cleveland location offers an outpatient detox program, an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults with substance abuse or co-occurring disorders, a supportive outpatient program, drug and alcohol education classes, and an outpatient program tailored for adolescents.
ADAPT’s outpatient detox program is the first in their continuum of care, combining evidence-based methods and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for clients with physical dependencies to drugs or alcohol. After a thorough assessment, clients are given personally tailored treatment plans. Trained detox staff monitor and work with patients 7 days a week for 7-21 days which may involve medical monitoring and individual and group therapy for a minimum of 6 hours per week. Once clients have completed the detox program, they continue their personally tailored treatment plan in Adapt’s intensive outpatient program (IOP).
IOP at ADAPT Programs offers a structured program with individual, family and group therapy. Addiction education classes are available for patients and their families, in addition to relapse prevention groups and community recovery resources. Clients in IOP meet 3 nights per week for 4 hour sessions with trained addiction specialists.
A supportive outpatient program (SOP) is designed to be similar to IOP with less weekly time commitment, ideal for individuals who have successfully completed a previous treatment program, who has maintained sobriety for a period of time and is seeking on-going support. SOP is a 90 day program that meets twice weekly, and heavily follows the 12-step philosophies paired with other evidence-based methods.
ADAPT helps clients reintegrate into daily life with personalized and detailed discharge planning. Community resources and on-going care plans are available for clients based on their specific circumstances and needs.
ADAPT Programs provides specialized outpatient services designed for adolescents with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Youth and teens attend 10 hours of treatment per week in a structured environment that promotes peer connection and healing. Patients will participate in individual, group, and family counseling in addition to education classes, 12-step meetings, relapse prevention planning, and spirituality awareness.
