Youth Villages - Bill’s Place is a residential facility for young boys between the ages of 10-17 who struggle with mental health and behavioral problems. The team specializes in treating self-harming behaviors and suicidal thoughts, extreme aggression, psychotic symptoms, and co-occurring disorders. Their intensive treatment program provides close supervision and structure for an integrated care approach.
Bill’s Place adopts a trauma-informed approach to understand and address the young boys' behavior with compassion and empathy. Their team uses a variety of treatment methods for a well-rounded approach, including individual and group therapy, family counseling, neurofeedback, recreation therapy, and art therapy. Their 3:1 staff ratio also ensures that each child receives the individualized care and attention essential for optimal growth and development.
Bill’s Place is a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide services for at-risk and vulnerable youth. The facility prioritizes education, providing a specialized curriculum for them to remain on track if they return to a traditional school. The young boys’ learning is enriched by a modern computer lab, library, and art center. Other amenities include a gymnasium, swimming pool, outdoor playground, and a theater and musical performance room.
