Yatra Centre

Yatra Centre is a small residential trauma treatment centre in Krabi, on the Andaman coast of southern Thailand. The centre sits on a quiet beachfront site with sea views, north of Krabi town, and takes a small number of clients at a time so each person's programme can be built around them. Its clinical director leads treatment for trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, burnout, and stress.

Work Through Trauma in Individual Sessions

Led by the clinical director, treatment centres on four one-to-one therapy sessions a week, keeping the work personal and focused, with group education and a holistic programme alongside. Therapies include eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS) therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and body work. Yatra Centre does not run group therapy, so every therapy session is individual.

Settle into a Private Residential Stay

The standard residential programme runs for 28 days, with a two-week minimum and longer stays by agreement. Clients stay in private rooms with en suite bathrooms, eat meals prepared in house, and can swim in the on-site pool. Sea views and a quiet beachfront site give each person room to rest between sessions, and the small size of the centre keeps the atmosphere personal.

Balance Therapy with Movement and Creativity

The holistic programme includes yoga, meditation, and massage, Muay Thai and fitness training, pottery and other creative activities, and a weekly excursion, giving clients a physical and creative outlet and a way to stay active between sessions. Yatra Centre also offers outpatient sessions, in person or online, at the clinical director's discretion, including as follow-up after a residential stay.
