About WhiteSands Treatment - Plant City
WhiteSands Alcohol & Drug Rehab is a residential treatment facility for individuals with alcohol and substance use disorders, using evidence-based therapies for a comprehensive approach. Their team believes that rehab should prioritize individualized care over group approaches, allowing each person to achieve their fullest potential for recovery. WhiteSands has been ranked as one of Florida’s best addiction treatment centers by Newsweek for four years in a row, with the intent of raising industry standards nationwide.
WhiteSands offers individual or family therapy sessions five times per week, with a high staff-to-patient ratio to ensure that every patient receives a comprehensive and personalized level of care. The center offers medical detox, group sessions, family therapy, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). They offer a comprehensive life skills program designed to equip patients with essential tools for a successful reintegration into everyday life and provide ongoing support after discharge.
Located in Plant City, Florida, the facility offers a variety of amenities and recreational activities for patients to enjoy outside of treatment hours. The campus spans 10 acres and features a state-of-the-art recreation center, a swimming pool, and a robust boxing program. Each patient has a private room equipped with internet access and a television for their comfort and convenience. Patients are also given nightly access to their personal electronics so they can keep in contact with loved ones. This approach helps them encounter external triggers in a controlled environment, reducing the risk of relapse.
