Their approach to recovery is a blend of holistic medicine and western medicine, along with 12-step facilitation. At Tranquility Woods, a cornerstone of their program is one-on-one sessions. Clients receive a minimum of 4 hours and up to 5 hours of individual therapy each week. Tranquility Woods believes that drugs and alcohol are not the root cause of addiction, but instead that there is an underlying problem that causes clients to self medicate. Tranquility Woods develops personalized plans for treatment. They use a blend of therapies such as equine therapy, experiential therapy, group and individual therapy, massage therapy, dual diagnosis treatment, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and family counseling. The average length of stay is between 30 to 90 days, and the average cost is $27,850. Tranquility Woods is accredited by CARF.
