Well Clinic - Potrero Hill
About Well Clinic - Potrero Hill
Grounded in the belief that relationships are central to healing, Well Clinic supports adults, couples, families, LGBTQ+ clients, and youth ages 4–17 through individual, couples, family, and child therapy, along with psychiatry, evaluations, and medication management. They treat anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, grief, stress, addiction, and relationship concerns through in person and online care.
Integrating Therapy and Psychiatry
Well Clinic tailors treatment to each client’s goals by combining therapy, psychiatry, and lifestyle support when appropriate. Therapists help clients understand the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns that contribute to mental health concerns, using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), somatic therapy, psychodynamic therapy, meditation, and mindfulness. When medication is appropriate, the psychiatry team coordinated with therapists to combine medication management, and lifestyle recommendations such exercise, yoga, lifestyle changes, and nutritional counseling.
Extend Care Across Communities
Founded in 2011, Well Clinic aims to make psychotherapy more community-focused and accessible. The team specializes in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, families, and nontraditional relationships, while child therapists help youth ages 4–17 through play therapy, CBT, talk therapy, and family participation. They also run Crisis Resilience, Transition Management, and Manager and Executive Counseling programs for professionals facing workplace stress, career transitions, and leadership decisions.
