With the mission to help helpers, givers, fixers, and high achievers build lives with less burnout, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or over-responsibility, Thrive for the People provides in-person therapy in Ballard, Seattle, and online therapy across Washington. The team works with high-achieving professionals, adults, teens, couples, and families. The center provides support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), burnout, perfectionism, grief, relationship concerns, eating disorders, and identity-related challenges.

Addressing Deeper Patterns

Thrive for the People uses depth-oriented and relational therapy to address current concerns and the underlying experiences and patterns that contribute to them. Therapists draw from psychodynamic psychotherapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), person-centered therapy, interpersonal process therapy, feminist therapy, and attachment-based approaches. Couples can receive emotionally focused couples therapy (EFT), which focuses on emotional patterns and attachment needs. Therapy addresses underlying experiences, beliefs, and relationship patterns alongside current symptoms. Depending on needs, clients may explore attachment wounds, emotional neglect, abandonment trauma, racial and cultural identity, people-pleasing, self-esteem, anger, stress, and nervous system regulation.
