About The Bay Psychotherapy Center
Helping clients reclaim control while learning to face their fears, The Bay Psychotherapy Center serves adolescents, college students, adults, and couples through in-person psychotherapy in San Francisco and telehealth across California. Specializing in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety, they also support individuals navigating depression, panic, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bereavement, stress, and major life changes. Couples receive focused support for infertility, infidelity, communication concerns, parenting, and premarital issues.
Develop Insight Through Therapy
The Bay's therapists use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, existential psychotherapy, and mindfulness, chosen based on each client's goals. ERP helps clients gradually face feared thoughts and situations without relying on compulsions, while ACT supports acceptance, values clarification, and meaningful action. The center also offers therapy in English and Spanish, with short-term care lasting about 3 to 8 months or longer-term psychotherapy when treatment goals call for more time.
