About Seattle Counseling and Wellness
Helping clients understand themselves, their relationships, and patterns that may keep them from reaching their goals, Seattle Counseling and Wellness serves children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Clinicians address anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief and loss, eating disorder, anger, identity development, and relationship concerns, alongside psychological testing and evaluations.
Strengthen Patterns Through Therapy
Seattle Counseling and Wellness uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help children with anxiety and depression connect thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while building coping and problem-solving skills. Clinicians also use dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness.
Support Families and Identity
For families with children over age 7, Seattle Counseling and Wellness offers one-on-one parent coaching focused on behavior strategies and more positive parent-child interactions. Clinicians may also coordinate with teachers, pediatricians, school teams, occupational therapists, and other caregivers. LGBTQIA+ affirming care addresses sexual orientation, gender transition, identity development, BDSM and kink, alternative relationships, sex work, and microaggressive trauma.
