Treatment Methods

The practitioners at Healing Paths are skilled in a range of therapeutic modalities. EMDR, also known as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy, is a popular method for treating PTSD and the symptoms brought on by trauma. Due to EMDR's ability to mimic how the brain naturally absorbs information and heals, one can revisit the past without having to relive it. The Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approach focuses on helping couples create a strong bond and sense of security with one another by taking personal responsibility for their own emotions. Other evidence-based treatment methods include lifespan integration and neurofeedback therapies.

Partner Betrayal Trauma Therapy

Healing Paths also offers a unique Partner Betrayal program aimed at healing and eliminating any shame or anger one may have toward a loved one struggling with sex addiction. This method recognizes that partners may sustain symptoms of trauma or PTSD and provides a safe place to respond to the crisis of discovery and emotional aftershock.Those participating in this program often attend marriage and relationship counseling as well.

Weekend Retreats

Healing Path provides various intensive workshops, weekend retreats and webinars intended to find areas of improvement in connection and relationships. According to Healing Paths, the quality of connection is the most accurate predictor of long-term success. These workshops help foster meaningful connections and support from others. Workshops are accessible both online and in person, with the goal of developing valuable connections.
