About Denver Couples Center
Helping partners understand recurring patterns and reconnect, Denver Couples Center serves couples and individuals facing communication problems, conflict, trust and infidelity, intimacy concerns, life transitions, and past trauma affecting relationships. They specialize in modern and progressive relationships, including LGBTQIA+, monogamous, polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, kink, and sex-positive relationships. Clients can access couples, individual, premarital, sex, and open relationship counseling, with in-person sessions in Denver and telehealth throughout Colorado.
Inclusive Care for Couples
Denver Couples Center takes a pragmatic, practical approach tailored to each relationship’s needs and goals. Therapists draw from the Gottman Method, emotionally focused therapy, the Developmental Model, psychodynamic couples therapy, and the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy. Sessions help partners recognize recurring patterns, communicate needs more clearly, work through conflict, and rebuild trust and intimacy. Individual therapy can also incorporate relational, somatic, sex, and psychedelic approaches to address personal concerns affecting relationships.
Exploring Connection Beyond Talk Therapy
Clients meet with licensed and pre-licensed therapists at the center’s Denver office, with daytime, evening, and weekend appointments available. Couples can also explore ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, where one partner may take a low dose while the other listens and supports them before switching roles, or both may participate together. The center also hosts experiential workshops that give couples practical ways to discuss sex, desire, boundaries, and intimacy. A free 20-minute consultation helps clients find an appropriate therapist.
