About The Banyans Health Plus
Delivered in one-day intensives each week, The Banyans Health Plus day program provides a powerful alternative for clients who may find it difficult to step away from everyday life to engage in residential treatment. Their individually tailored outpatient programs for mental health, substance dependency, eating disorders, and wellbeing offer up to 7 one-on-one therapeutic sessions each day. Clients have access to hard-to-reach health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and addiction medicine specialists in one convenient Brisbane location or via telehealth.
The Banyans Health Plus offers the advantage of immediate access, eliminating the waiting periods experienced in traditional healthcare. Once admitted, each client’s program is delivered one day a week for 8 weeks. These 8 days can be delivered as best fits the client’s schedule: clients can choose to fly in and fly out, have weeks where they take a break, or have some days delivered via telehealth. Programs range from one to six weeks, with up to 12 months of structured post-program support.
A day at The Banyans Health Plus starts with a chef-prepared breakfast, followed by group yoga. Clients undergo medical testing to personalize their programs, then consult with a nutritionist. After a psychology session, there’s reflection time, lunch, and a psychiatry consultation. The day wraps with a 1-on-1 exercise physiology session before freshening up in luxury.
The Banyans Health Plus is based in the Bowen Hills Medical Specialist Centre. With consultation rooms for one-on-one appointments, a beautiful lounge complete with a kitchenette and workspaces, industry-equipped gym, yoga studio, and other luxurious amenities and concierge services, they provide everything clients are looking for in a day program. Should it be required, they can also make special security requirements to ensure peace of mind.
