About Transition Living Centers
Near North Miami and close to I-95, Transition Living Centers operates a transitional and sober living residence for men in recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. A live-in house manager is available on-site around the clock, and residents are required to attend 12-Step meetings, obtain a sponsor, work the steps, and participate in a home group outside the house. Random drug and alcohol testing is conducted regularly as part of Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) certification requirements.
Life Skills and House Rules
Residents practice daily life skills through a structured set of house rules designed to support their transition to sober living. Each resident is assigned weekly household chores and held to daily cleaning responsibilities. A curfew is in place for all residents and is reduced on a merit basis over time. Smoking is permitted in a designated outdoor area while the property includes well-maintained landscaping with outdoor sitting areas and ample parking available for residents.
Residence Amenities and Location
Linens, towels, cleaning supplies, and paper goods are provided to residents. The home includes a dedicated laundry area and a community dining space for shared meals. Transition Living Centers is located within walking distance of bus routes, stores, restaurants, and a library, making it accessible for residents who rely on public transportation or need to run daily errands.
