About Steady Path Home
Located in Quincy, Massachusetts, and a five-minute walk from the Red Line, Steady Path Home is a substance-free shared residence for women who want stable housing while rebuilding their lives. Women do not need to be enrolled in formal treatment, but they must commit to substance-free living and follow house expectations. The home is not a treatment program and does not provide clinical, medical, or therapeutic services.
A Home Where Routines Take Root
Residents rent a bed in a furnished shared bedroom and share the kitchen, bathrooms, and living areas. Weekly rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, bedding, toiletries, and parking, while residents buy their own food. Steady Path Home encourages consistent routines, household chores, mutual respect, and accountability. The women are also encouraged to work, join recovery meetings, outpatient programs, or other meaningful activities.
Small Steps Toward a Fresh Chapter
Daily life at Steady Path Home centers on consistent routines, shared meals, and mutual support. Women can join optional activities such as yoga, mindfulness, meditation, journaling, and outdoor walks. They may continue working with their own therapists, support groups, or other care providers. There is no fixed length of stay, provided residents follow house expectations and pay rent on time.
