About SD Sober Living
With multiple homes located across San Diego County, SD Sober Living provides structured sober living for men recovering from substance use disorders. They emphasize that recovery happens through community, accountability, and genuine support. Residents make genuine connections and share responsibilities while working toward maintaining sobriety together. The program centers on clear expectations, peer support, and a shared commitment to long-term recovery in a stable and supportive setting.
Experience Accountability and Structure for Lasting Recovery
Access to SD Sober Living begins with a call, text, or form submission followed by a brief conversation to understand each individual’s situation. They outline house rules, costs, and expectations before admission. The program maintains structured routines that include house meetings and assigned responsibilities. They remain reachable at all times by phone, text, or email. While not a clinical provider, they work alongside intensive outpatient programs, counselors, and treatment teams to support continued recovery. They also work with intensive outpatient programs that can offer financial assistance toward rent for clients enrolled in a qualifying program with Medi-Cal.
Family Connection and Community Integration in Recovery
Family involvement is recognized as an important part of long-term recovery at SD Sober Living, with structured visiting guidelines that encourage connection. They emphasize respectful relationships among residents and shared accountability within the home. Their approach includes maintaining a supportive environment where individuals stay connected to their support network. The program highlights ongoing communication and coordination with families and external providers to help individuals remain engaged in recovery and sustain stability over time.
