Located on Clairemont Drive in San Diego’s Clairemont area, about a mile from Pacific Beach, San Diego Coastal Sober Living is a co-ed sober living home for adults, including transitional age youth ages 18-24, recovering from addiction. The program offers structured sober housing with shared rooms and 24-hour supervision for residents who need added accountability. Residents can attend recovery meetings, outpatient treatment, school, or work while living in a substance-free home.
Build Structure in Early Recovery
San Diego Coastal Sober Living individualizes each resident’s level of supervision based on their current needs. The program uses recovery education to cover alcohol and drug education, relapse prevention, post-acute withdrawal, emotional regulation, anger and stress reduction, relationships, spirituality, and aftercare planning. This structure helps residents build daily recovery habits while staying connected to outside treatment and community responsibilities.
Live in a Stable Home Setting
The residence has 10 beds, 6 rooms, shared bedrooms, and an operator or on-site manager living within the facility. Amenities include extra bed linens, laundry access at no extra charge, free laundry supplies, internet, telephone, cable-ready TV, and entertainment options like books, movies, and games.
