About Rocky Mountain Sober Living
Located near downtown Colorado Springs and its trail system, Rocky Mountain Sober Living provides structured sober living for adults with substance use disorder (SUD), including co-occurring anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, and other mental health concerns linked to substance use. The program serves adults 18 and older and operates multiple men’s and women’s homes, including 3 men’s homes and 3 women’s homes. As a Level II Certified Recovery Residence, it offers peer-supported housing, routine drug and alcohol testing, 24/7 staff access, and daily accountability.
Structured Therapy and Accountability
Rocky Mountain Sober Living connects residents with outside therapy services, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), trauma therapy, grief therapy, family therapy, art therapy, and music therapy. While residents attend therapy in the community, staff monitor sobriety through lab testing and personal breathalyzers. The program also requires support meeting attendance, such as AA or NA, and offers access to a peer recovery coach at no cost.
Shared Homes and Daily Routine
Residents live in shared homes with secure storage for personal items and medications. Across its men’s and women’s homes, each residence includes common areas, kitchens, and access to meals prepared on-site. Residents complete chores, follow house schedules, and participate in recovery activities that support structure and accountability. Staff conduct room checks, enforce house rules, and help residents maintain daily routines in a supportive shared living environment.
