RCVRY HOUSE
About RCVRY HOUSE
Serving Omaha, Nebraska, RCVRY HOUSE is a structured sober living home for men 19 and older in recovery from alcohol and drug use who are enrolled in a partial hospitalization program (PHP) or intensive outpatient program (IOP). Outside providers deliver all clinical care, while the house supplies housing, food, recovery coaching, gym access and transportation. Residents enter substance-free with a clean admission drug screen and must be medically and psychiatrically stable, since RCVRY HOUSE does not provide detox or 24-hour clinical care. Same-day admissions are available.
A Shared Home in Southwest Omaha
The house has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and furnished shared rooms. Residents share a kitchen, groceries and a weekly Sunday dinner. A large private backyard with a fire pit, an infrared sauna, a basement rec room with foosball and an arcade game, and Wi-Fi round out the home. Residents follow a daily schedule with breathalyzer checks, random drug screens, a curfew of 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, chores, and required recovery meetings. Gym sessions run 6 days a week, and residents participate in weekly volunteer service in Omaha.
Three Phases Toward Independence
A 3-phase system moves residents from orientation and stabilization to growth and, finally, transition planning for housing, work and ongoing support. Weekend outings include hiking, kayaking, bowling, rock climbing and disc golf. Christian values shape the house, and church and Bible study are offered, though faith participation is always optional.
