About Pacific Trails Sober Living - Odyssey House
Founded by Max Niemeyer and Joey McGeough, two men with personal recovery experience, Pacific Trails Sober Living - Odyssey House provides men’s sober living and second-stage recovery housing in South Burnaby, British Columbia, serving Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. The program welcomes men who have completed primary treatment, including those taking methadone or Suboxone. Odyssey House offers single and double rooms with 24/7 on-site support.
Building Bonds, One Adventure at a Time
Men follow a structured routine with a curfew, random drug testing, 3 recovery activities each week, and a weekly house meeting and dinner. Most stays last 6 to 12 months. Weekly group outings include hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, fishing, cliff jumping, skiing, camping, and golf, giving residents opportunities to build friendships through outdoor recreation.
Room to Restart and Grow
Odyssey House has two kitchens, a home gym, a large-screen TV lounge, a patio, two balconies, a spacious backyard, a koi pond, a fire pit, and a BBQ grill. Food, utilities, Wi-Fi, and household essentials are included in the monthly rent of $1,500 to $2,900. Self-pay and band or agency funding are accepted. Buses stop outside, SkyTrain is nearby, and Metrotown is about five minutes away by car.
