Olive Branch House
About Olive Branch House
Designed for men rebuilding stability after addiction, incarceration, or homelessness, Olive Branch House combines sober living with an on-site work-from-home program inside a residential home near San Antonio’s Medical Center. Residents use furnished shared bedrooms, internet-equipped workstations, and structured house phases while working toward sobriety and employment. The program focuses on substance use recovery through sober living, accountability meetings, and long-term housing preparation.
Remote Work and Reentry Support
Olive Branch House centers much of its program around employment access for residents with transportation barriers, delayed identification documents, or criminal backgrounds. The home provides computers, printers, dedicated phone lines, and private workstations for job searches, virtual interviews, and remote employment. Residents also receive guidance with budgeting, employment planning, and daily routines while participating in peer meetings and local 12-Step recovery groups.
House Rules and Daily Flow
Residents follow daily house expectations that include curfews, chore rotations, hygiene standards, and random drug and alcohol testing. Weekly house meetings may include prayer, scripture reading, and recovery discussions tied to the home’s Christian recovery model. Visitors are limited to approved common-area hours, and residents typically remain in the program for several months while building savings, employment history, and independent living plans.
