About New Soil Sober Living
Built around discipline and movement, New Soil Sober Living serves men ages 18–35 transitioning from inpatient treatment into a structured sober living setting. This 90-day minimum program supports recovery from drug and alcohol addiction through 24/7 supervision, frequent drug and alcohol testing, daily recovery chats, 12-Step participation, peer connection, and routines that reinforce accountability and independent living.
Strengthen Recovery with Movement
Daily Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and functional fitness give residents practical ways to manage stress, control breathing through discomfort, and solve problems calmly. Training alongside peers also builds trust and camaraderie, while AA and NA meetings, meditation, yoga, journaling, daily gratitude, and outdoor activities reinforce healthy masculinity, personal ownership, and consistent recovery habits.
Promote Wellness Through Routine
Residents live in this East Stroudsburg home with shared living areas, a kitchen, laundry facilities, an onsite gym, Jiu-Jitsu dojo and martial arts training space, and a yoga and meditation room. Daily home-cooked meals support consistent nutrition, while the Pocono Mountains extend recovery activities beyond the residence through hiking, kayaking, and rafting in warmer months and skiing and snowboarding in winter.
