Mitchell Safe Haven
About Mitchell Safe Haven
Creating structure for the next chapter, Mitchell Safe Haven supports individuals experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, navigating behavioral health challenges, living in recovery, or involved in re-entry. They maintain a structured, drug-free supportive shared-living environment with recovery and peer support, mentorship, community referrals, and life-skills support. During intake, they assess meal preparation, laundry, medication self-management, transportation to appointments, personal finances, household routines, and other independent-living needs.
Coordinate Care Through Support
Mitchell Safe Haven’s mental health services include individual psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, mental health referrals, and ongoing support coordination. When needed, medication management may involve a board-certified psychiatric prescriber. Their intake process reviews health information, medications, recovery supports, accommodations, and independent living ability to guide placement. Residents may live in furnished semi-private or shared rooms, with Wi-Fi, cable television, an equipped shared kitchen, and on-site laundry available within the home.
