Designed for women seeking a structured step between treatment and independent living, Maple House opened in 2025 as a women-only sober living home in New Haven, Connecticut. The CTARR-certified residence houses up to 12 women in a three-family property with mostly private rooms, plus full kitchens and bathrooms on each floor. This setup gives residents more privacy and independence while maintaining the structure, safety, and peer support expected in a certified recovery residence.

Connecting Support with Routine

Daily recovery support centers on participation in the 12-Steps and Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous, along with access to outside resources such as Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery groups and individual therapy. Maple House accepts women taking Suboxone or methadone and includes everyday medication management. Nearby public transportation and private off-street parking make it easier for residents to attend appointments, work, and manage other responsibilities.

Extending Support Beyond Residence

NorthStar Pathways manages Maple House and also operates Angela’s House in New Haven. The organization serves women ages 23-77 and creates an aftercare plan for each resident to support continuity after sober living. Both homes are self-pay, with shared and private rooms ranging from $750 to $1,185 per month, based on room type and availability.
