Journey House
About Journey House
Providing transitional sober living for people recovering from addiction who are already sober and active in a 12-Step program. Journey House operates as a 3/4 house, bridging structured halfway housing and independent living. Residents practice twelve-step principles while building independence, responsibility, and self-sufficiency. House rules include chores, expectations, and random drug and alcohol testing to maintain a safe, supportive sober environment that strengthens long-term recovery.
Community Environment and Daily Life
Since 2014, Journey House has created a recovery-focused home-like setting that supports healthy living beyond treatment. Residents take part in community activities such as backyard movie nights, barbecues, outdoor excursions, sport fishing, and boating. These experiences help build connection, healthy routines, and social support while reinforcing sobriety and preparing residents for independent, stable living in everyday life.
