Men who have completed primary treatment for alcohol or drug dependency can continue recovery at Tivy House, a 3-bedroom, 1-bath sober living residence. Hill Country Sober Living maintains an alcohol- and drug-free home with random urine screens and Breathalyzer tests. The program focuses on early sobriety, relapse prevention, accountability, and skills that prepare residents for independent living.

Structure Beyond Primary Treatment

Residents attend at least 4 recovery meetings each week if working and 6 if not working, find a sponsor within their 1st week, and meet with that sponsor weekly. They must obtain a job within 2 weeks or complete 10 hours of community service each week if they do not have a job or receive disability benefits. Tivy House also requires Sunday house meetings, deep-cleaning chores on Sundays and Wednesdays, and curfews of 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
