About Highlife Recovery - Sober Living
Located in the state of Ohio, Highlife Recovery Sober Living is a structured transitional sober living program at 3831 Walnut Creek Drive in Columbus, for men and women ages 18 and older. Residents live on a gender-specific campus and follow rules built around 12-Step recovery, outpatient treatment, accountability, and sober routines. The program is for adults in recovery from addiction who need housing with clear expectations, peer accountability, and daily structure.
Program Rules and Recovery Structure
Residents must attend 12-Step or self-help meetings, including AA/NA, and begin step work with a sponsor within 30 days. They must also get a sponsor and home group, attend house meetings twice per week, follow curfew, enroll in treatment services, and take random drug tests. Curfew is 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Residents are expected to find employment within 30 days. The program uses three phases. As residents meet requirements, they receive more independence.
Campus Life and Practical Details
The campus includes gender-specific areas and buildings, utilities, basic amenities, high-speed Wi-Fi, a basketball hoop, and a fire pit. Residents share family-style dinners and may join outings such as laser tag, bowling, kayaking, go-kart racing, and horseback riding. There are 12-Step meetings within walking distance, along with a library, post office, shops, eateries, and local job options. The program takes about one year to complete, but residents do not have to finish it to participate, and there is no set maximum stay.
