Healing Properties Sober Living

A FARR-certified, substance-free home for men 18 and older, Healing Properties has run structured men's sober living in Delray Beach since 2002. It has operated on the same block for 22 years, at a central location just off Atlantic Avenue, next to the Delray police station and within walking distance of two main clubhouses. The home offers 36 beds across 6 units.

A Typical Day at the House

Recovery at Healing Properties is built on meetings, sponsorship, daily accountability, and working the 12 Steps. During the day, residents work or look for work, and the alumni network helps men connect with jobs. Each unit has a senior resident with over a year of sobriety who meets weekly with the property manager and the certified recovery residence administrator to keep standards consistent. Men in early or higher-risk stages of recovery are placed closer to management for extra support. Drug testing is included in the stay.

What Makes This Place Work

The staff at Healing Properties have been where the residents are, and many are alumni of the home. The home requires a minimum 90-day stay at the main house, and men move up to the three-quarter house after 6 months of sobriety, completing step work, and holding a steady job. The weekly rate starts at $300 and includes internet, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and household supplies. Healing Properties speaks with every applicant by phone before acceptance, and men are welcome to call or text to start the process.
