About Genesis Pathways
Centered on dignity and structure, Genesis Pathways is a women-only sober living residence about 15 minutes from Abilene, Texas. They support women moving from more intensive addiction treatment into a stable recovery environment built around sobriety and responsibility. Peer connection is also part of daily life. The National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) and the Texas Recovery Oriented Housing Network (TROHN) certify the residence, which follows Level II recovery housing standards.
Build Freedom Through Routine
Daily life follows a clear recovery routine that supports accountability and steady progress. Residents work on recovery plans and attend required support meetings while staying connected with a sponsor or mentor. Meetings may include 12-Step, SMART Recovery, or faith-based groups. They reinforce structure through nightly check-ins, curfews, approved schedules, weekly house meetings and random toxicology testing. Restrictions may gradually lessen as residents meet recovery goals. Work, school, job searching or volunteering also help build greater independence.
Create Stability Through Daily Living
The residence includes furnished bedrooms with oversized walk-in closets and comfortable shared living areas. Residents also have access to a full kitchen, an office workspace with a computer and printer and high-speed internet. Life-skills programming, household chores and meal preparation help residents build practical habits for daily living. They also connect residents with local recovery groups and other supports. Keypad entry and outdoor perimeter cameras add another layer of household security.
