About Garden Estates
Providing sober living for adults in recovery, Garden Estates offers structured housing, recovery support, and access to clinical services in West Dallas and Allen, Texas. Residents must have at least 30 days of sobriety before admission. Founded under the HELP USA Homes nonprofit umbrella, the program was created to help bridge the gap between treatment and independent living through a supportive community, accountability, and access to recovery resources.
Recovery Support with Practical Life Skills
Garden Estates supports recovery through therapy coordination, medication management, outpatient program support, and transportation to treatment and 12-Step meetings. Residents receive guidance with budgeting, meal planning, employment, and daily responsibilities while living alongside peers who share similar recovery goals. Animal therapy is also available, providing an additional source of support during recovery.
A Foundation for Independent Living
Residents live in newly constructed homes managed by sober house leaders with more than five years of sobriety experience. Homes typically accommodate 5-12 residents and emphasize accountability, community involvement, and healthy routines. Alongside recovery meetings and therapy, residents may participate in activities such as journaling, cooking, crafts, music, and other creative outlets. The Allen location also features a pool, providing an additional space for relaxation, recreation, and connection with fellow residents.
