About Ellis Sober House - East Haven Home
Centered on helping men balance recovery with work and everyday responsibilities, the East Haven Home is a structured alcohol- and drug-free housing in a peaceful neighborhood near Foxon Road. The location keeps residents connected to public transportation, fitness facilities, restaurants, shopping, and community recovery resources.
Strengthen Routine Through Accountability
Residents follow written expectations for sobriety, curfew, testing, cleanliness, recovery participation, and household responsibilities. Alongside these requirements, employment, school, volunteering, treatment programming, and documented job searching help residents maintain a consistent schedule. Together, peer support and shared routines reinforce accountability throughout the week.
Stay Connected While Rebuilding
Operated by Ellis Sober House, the home offers furnished shared bedrooms, comfortable common areas, a recreation room, and a pool table. The Foxon Road area also provides access to local restaurants and everyday services. Shared rooms cost $225 per week, and a $400 nonrefundable entry fee applies.

Buprenorphine
This center accepts patients receiving MAT prescribed elsewhere for opioid use disorder, but does not provide MAT.
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
