About Dutton House Sober Living
Founded in 2017, Dutton House Sober Living helps working professional men strengthen their recovery in a structured, recovery-first sober living home. Designed for men stepping down from treatment or continuing early recovery, the home provides peer support, recovery coaching, and daily accountability. Led by men in recovery with firsthand experience, the house emphasizes consistent routines, honest conversations, and the small daily decisions that help keep recovery steady while preparing residents for independent living.
Consistency Through Accountability
Dutton House Sober Living centers daily life on accountability and consistent recovery habits. An experienced house manager lives onsite, while recovery coaching helps men navigate work, family relationships, and everyday challenges in sobriety. Residents attend house meetings, complete daily check-ins, participate in regular drug and alcohol testing, and track meeting attendance and mood through the Sobriety Hub app. The home also encourages a 90 meetings in 90 days approach to help men establish strong recovery routines during early sobriety.
A Stable Place to Move Forward
Residents live in a spacious 2-story home with a maximum of 11 men and no more than 2 residents per bedroom. The home includes 2 living rooms, a large kitchen, and shared spaces that provide plenty of room for everyone. Located in Austin's Hyde Park neighborhood, residents can walk to nearby 12-Step meetings, grocery stores, restaurants, parks, the University of Texas, and employment opportunities while building routines that support long-term recovery.
