Coral Sober Living

A FARR-certified (Florida Association of Recovery Residences) sober living program for men, Coral Sober Living provides safe, drug-free housing in Miami for those serious about recovery after treatment. Rather than a clinical treatment provider, it offers structure and accountability for men leaving detox, residential treatment, or another recovery program who want a recovery-focused environment in South Florida. A house manager lives on-site, weekly house meetings keep the home connected, and residents are expected to work or actively look for work, follow house rules, submit to random drug testing, and observe curfew.

Build Recovery Through the 12 Steps

Everything at Coral Sober Living is built around the 12-Step program. Residents attend a minimum of 5 AA or NA meetings each week, with updated meeting schedules provided and transportation to meetings available. Sponsors are required, and new residents are expected to find one early in their stay. Meeting attendance is tracked, step work is encouraged and monitored, and privileges are earned through consistent progress, with overnight passes available only after meeting specific requirements, including active sponsorship. Random drug testing applies to everyone in the house.

Live in a Structured, Supportive Home

Residents share responsibility for keeping the home clean and running smoothly, and most find employment within the first few weeks. Amenities include an on-site house manager, transportation to meetings, laundry, and Wi-Fi. For residents participating in outpatient treatment, the team is happy to work alongside their provider to support their recovery goals.

Understand Costs and Payment

Rent ranges from $195 to $225 per week depending on the house and room, and includes housing, utilities, Wi-Fi, and participation in the house program. There is no intake fee and no long-term contract. Coral Sober Living is private pay and does not bill insurance. For those whose only barrier is finances, the Fresh Start Fund may be able to help with initial housing costs.
