About Clarity House Chicago - Christiana House for Men
Set in Chicago, Illinois, Clarity House is a structured sober living program for men recovering from alcohol and drug addiction. Its men’s residence, Christiana House, operates separately from the women’s home within the same overall program. Men live in a gender-specific setting centered on peer accountability, routine, and shared recovery goals, while both residences follow the same standards for sobriety, safety, structure, and 24/7 peer support.
Structure Built for Men
Men attend in-person recovery meetings 4 to 5 times each week, follow curfews, complete household responsibilities, and take part in required weekly house meetings. Random drug screenings reinforce accountability and help maintain a sober environment. A written handbook outlines expectations and graduated consequences before move-in, while privileges such as extended curfews increase as residents demonstrate consistency and progress.
A Separate Place to Rebuild
The men’s residence is fully furnished and supports daily independence in a gender-specific setting separate from the women’s home. Residents have access to an equipped kitchen, shared living areas with cable television, on-site laundry, high-speed WiFi, and outdoor space. A flat weekly rate covers the room, utilities, and shared amenities, helping men focus on building stable routines and preparing for more independent living.
