Citronia Recovery

A co-ed sober living home in Tarzana, Citronia Recovery has served Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley since 2017. Adult men and women live in a 10-resident, substance-free home with a live-in house manager, shared responsibilities, and clear expectations for daily life. Couples may share a bedroom, while other men and women stay in separate rooms. Citronia focuses on sober living rather than therapy, detox, IOP, or medical treatment.

Accountability and Outside Care

Residents attend a Sunday house meeting, complete daily chores, keep their rooms and shared spaces clean, and attend 12-step or other recovery-based meetings. Citronia may also use random alcohol and drug screening. Staff can introduce residents to independent outpatient or IOP providers and, with permission, coordinate with outside doctors and therapists. Citronia welcomes residents using prescribed medication-assisted treatment (MAT), stores medication in a locked box, and gives residents access through staff when needed.

Living in the Tarzana Home

Bedrooms accommodate 2 residents, and most residents plan to stay for at least 90 days. Residents may work or attend school while living at Citronia and share the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The home provides Wi-Fi, cable TV, streaming services, laundry facilities, towels, and bedding. Staff can also arrange transportation to doctor visits, independent IOP appointments, job interviews, and other important commitments.
