Brevard Beacon House
About Brevard Beacon House
A boutique sober living home combines structured recovery housing with coaching for men 18+ returning to work, school, and other responsibilities. Brevard Beacon House houses up to 15 residents in a renovated 3,000+ sq. ft. estate in Melbourne, Florida. The FARR Level 2 residence uses shared living, a 24/7 house manager, peer accountability, drug screening, and clear house expectations while making coaching part of the resident program.
Coaching Addresses Patterns Behind Relapse
Every resident completes an Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessment that examines how they respond to everyday situations and stress. Weekly Mastermind coaching then uses Energy Leadership, neuro-linguistic programming, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to work on limiting beliefs, behavior patterns, purpose, and relapse prevention. Residents may also arrange 1-on-1 coaching. The house allows residents to continue physician-prescribed Suboxone, Vivitrol, or methadone under its medication storage and self-administration protocols.
Recovery Connects with Everyday Responsibilities
Residents apply that work while rebuilding routines outside the house. They attend weekly house meetings, take part in peer mentoring, follow curfews, and complete at least 32 hours of employment, education, or volunteering each week. Each resident also maintains an outside recovery pathway, such as AA, NA, SMART Recovery, Celebrate Recovery, or Refuge Recovery. Most stays last 30 to 90 days, with length based on each resident's goals.
