About Boost Recovery House
Focusing on house rules and accountability, Boost Recovery House provides sober living housing for men recovering from drug or alcohol addiction. Residents live in a structured, substance-free environment. The house offers furnished accommodations with bedroom furniture, linens, towels, kitchen supplies, utilities, basic cable, and wireless internet. Residents commit to maintaining sobriety and following house rules while living in the residence.
Daily Responsibilities in Recovery
The house requires external participation in alcoholics anonymous (AA), narcotics anonymous (NA), or cocaine anonymous (CA). Residents complete 90 meetings in 90 days, then attend at least five meetings weekly after. They must maintain a sponsor, join a home group, attend Tuesday house meetings, complete daily chores, keep spaces clean, and maintain employment or actively seek work if unemployed.
Maintaining a Safe and Substance-Free Home
The house conducts random and scheduled urine drug screens and breathalyzer tests. Personal belongings are searched upon arrival. Residents must follow rules prohibiting drugs and alcohol, violence, theft, dishonesty, unauthorized medications, drug-seeking behavior, indoor smoking, property damage, and guests. Residents are responsible for their belongings, daily cleaning, and shared spaces. Violations may result in loss of privileges, extra chores, early curfews, community service, or discharge.
