About Awakening Recovery Women's House
Built entirely on lived experience, this year-long, drug-free collaborative home offers a sanctuary for women breaking the cycle of substance use and trauma. Set in a spacious 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom house, Awakening Recovery Women's House serves up to 14 residents at once. Residents live in an empathetic environment where they can safely step away from substances and rebuild through strong peer mentorship.
Build Practical Skills and Embrace Wellness
Women live a structured daily life centered around 12-Step involvement, alumni mentoring, and wellness practices like yoga and meditation. During the second half of their stay, residents focus on returning to society with confidence through finding employment, building family relationships, and developing sober routines. To support this transition, residents access local mental and physical health resources, as well as nearby public transportation, social services, and restaurants.
