Atlas Sober Living
About Atlas Sober Living
Built around structure and accountability, Atlas Sober Living offers recovery housing for men 18+ recovering from substance use disorder (SUD). Their West Hartford residence combines a drug- and alcohol-free home with peer support and a 12-Step approach. Residents attend four recovery meetings weekly and find a sponsor within seven days of moving in.
Strengthen Accountability Through Routine
Clear house rules help residents develop daily routines and independence. Atlas requires regular drug and alcohol testing, weekly house meetings, and set curfews. During the first 30 days, residents sign in and out and complete daily check-ins with the house manager. They must also work, attend school full-time, or actively seek employment.
Experience Practical Everyday Comfort
The renovated residence features shared bedrooms, private one-bedroom options, and larger private rooms. Shared kitchens, furnished lounges, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, and a covered porch support everyday living. Nearby grocery stores, public transportation, employers, and recovery meetings make it easier to manage daily responsibilities and maintain community connections.
