About Action Alliance Services
Built from a 20-year recovery presence in Orange County, Action Alliance Services is a sober living network for adult men and women facing substance use disorder (SUD) with co-occurring concerns. Their program combines sober housing, 12-Step recovery, daily structure, and accountability to help residents build stability in early recovery. Open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, the program gives adults steady access to sober housing when they are ready to begin.
Stay Anchored in Recovery
Action Alliance Services centers on 12-Step recovery, sober mentorship, peer accountability, and daily structure. Residents attend 4 AA meetings a week and work with a sponsor to stay connected to recovery support. They complete chores, follow a strict 11 p.m. curfew, and seek employment within 1-2 weeks if they enter without a job. Random drug and alcohol testing adds accountability, while managers may help residents coming from the streets with food stamps, clothing donations, house food, and payment plans after they find work.
Carry Hope Into Housing
Action Alliance Services began when founder George Folk carried his own sober living experience into helping others find housing and hope. Incorporated in 2007, the network operates 20+ Orange County sober homes and houses about 300 people. In partnership with Action Alliance Foundation, its mission centers on second chances for people entering with no job, no money, relapse history, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), or court or deferred-sentencing referrals.
