Siam Rehab

Siam Rehab is a private residential addiction treatment centre in Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand, serving English-speaking clients from around the world. Set on a private 30-acre campus surrounded by tropical gardens and countryside, the centre combines evidence-based addiction treatment with a high level of privacy, space, fitness, wellness and personal support. Licensed by Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health, it’s also one of a small number of rehabs in the country accredited by the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (HAI).

The Progamme

Siam Rehab provides an evidence-based, non-12-step approach to addiction treatment, incorporating therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), rational emotive behaviour therapy (REBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), SMART Recovery, and Recovery Dharma. Clients participate in daily group therapy and receive a minimum of two individual counselling sessions each week. Psychologists, addiction counsellors, nurses, and fitness and wellness staff support treatment, and additional activities help improve physical health, emotional wellbeing, and long-term recovery. Treatment looks at more than drug or alcohol use. It also looks at the thoughts, habits, and lifestyle that feed addiction.

The Facilities

The 30-acre campus has plenty of room to move. Clients can use a swimming pool, an on-site gym, a Muay Thai boxing ring, a basketball court, and badminton and volleyball areas. There are walking and running trails and quiet spaces set aside for meditation. Massage is also available. Shared dining and common areas give clients time to connect with others in the programme.
