About Saint Jude Retreats
Saint Jude Retreat was designed with an adult professional in mind. They practice a non-disease and non-treatment approach, which means they do not believe in addiction being a lifelong journey, but rather something the client can overcome with help. Saint Jude Retreat uses a research-based, Non-12-Step approach called The Freedom Model, in which the guest navigates through a 4-week course curriculum. Guests also receive one-on-one classes with the originators of the Non 12-Step movement during their 4-week stay.
Saint Jude Retreat offers their professional clients an executive alcohol and drug rehab. They do not want their clients to have to isolate themselves from important business dinners or family events. Saint Jude Retreat does not diagnose or keep medical records, as they understand that getting help for a drinking or drug problem is a private matter.
Saint Jude Retreat resides in a very secluded location that sits on acres of forest, meadows, private trails, and a bass pond. The pond offers fishing during the summer and ice skating during the winter. Every other week they offer outings into the Adirondack Mountains, and these include, but are not limited to, hiking, horseback riding, cross country skiing. Saint Jude Retreat’s guests have their own private bedroom and/or suite with a jacuzzi and a private area inside the suite for their Freedom Model lessons. They also have an Executive Chef prepare meals according to clients’ dietary needs. Additionally, a private massage therapist is available on a weekly basis for Swedish Massages, Reflexology, Hot Rocks Therapy, and Deep Tissue Massage. Saint Jude Retreats does not accept insurance and is ⅓ the cost of most inpatient programs, but there are financing programs available.
