To be accredited means the treatment center has been found to meet the Commission's standards for quality and safety in patient care.

About Roots Adolescent Renewal Ranch
Roots Renewal Ranch is a mental health and substance use treatment center that specializes in the unique challenges faced by adolescent girls. Roots Renewal Ranch treats girls ages 13-17 struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, self-harm, eating disorders, and trauma. The vision at Roots Renewal is simple yet compassionate: to help cleanse, equip, empower, and renew the girls in their care so they can reach their full potential. Roots Renewal accomplishes this vision and so much more by treating the whole child, and their family. Through their strengths-based, trauma-informed care, clients will receive weekly individual counseling, daily group counseling with their peers, and time for journaling and clinical assignments, not to mention the services that come with their Family Program. Parents also have 1-on-1 sessions with the child's therapist as well as full family sessions once a week. Roots also provides parent and sibling support groups, education sessions, and family weekend intensive, meant to inform, inspire, and instruct.
Roots Renewal Ranch is located in Argyle, Texas where adorable goats and llamas adorn the property. The girls get to take part in caring for these farm animals along with daily light chores. The spacious lodge is beautiful inside and out. With open plan living, and grand outdoor spaces there's something for every girl at the Ranch.
Academics is important, and the Roots has an on-site school filled with certified teachers and an on-site support staff. Girls receive 2.5 hours of classroom time per day, and 1-2 hours of homework. Advisors will send weekly progress updates to the parents and the schools. Virtual Learning Academy and credit recovery are also available through the Texas Virtual School Network (TXVSN).
Roots Renewal Ranch is a well-rounded, unique program that is dedicated to providing high-quality care for girls and their families.
