About ReWild Medicine Retreat
ReWild Medicine is a legal, private pay retreat. They use ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to help clients heal from alcohol use disorder, major/persistent depression, and relationship struggles (using couples counseling). They incorporate the healing aspect of nature throughout treatment, with exclusive and private access to a 99-acre nature retreat in the Santa Monica Mountains. ReWild Medicine’s 8-week treatment plan includes a hybrid schedule of in-person and online care. All ketamine sessions take place on site under clinical and therapeutic supervision.
ReWild Medicine welcomes 3-6 clients at a time into their 8-week program. The 4-level process includes:
•Intake and Evaluation (1): ReWild Medicine conducts online and in-person evaluations of clients’ physical and mental health to determine their treatment needs.
•Preparation Sessions (2): Here, clients join others in the program for 1-2 weeks of online preparation sessions. These help each client set their goals and treatment intentions.
•Ketamine-Assisted Sessions (3): ReWild Medicine provides 6 ketamine-assisted therapy sessions over 2 long weekends. A doctor and therapist oversee each session and remain on-site 24/7.
•Integration (4): Online counseling and activities help clients integrate new revelations and insights into their daily lives.
ReWild Medicine provides treatment with the ultimate goal of connecting clients back to their true selves, the earth, and nature. They use ketamine-assisted treatment with the guidance of experienced clinicians and therapists. Their staff have decades of experience in psychedelic care and are certified in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research. They use intramuscular injection to administer a safe dose of ketamine.
Clients at ReWild Medicine must go through detox, if needed, before starting treatment. ReWild Medicine provides lodging, food, and monitoring during ketamine sessions. Other treatment takes place online. They currently welcome clients with diagnosed alcohol addiction, depression (major, persistent, and bipolar), and offer couples counseling for clients with relationship challenges.
