About Resource Residential Treatment Center
Located in bustling Indianapolis, Resource Treatment Center provides residential treatment for adolescents, teens, and young adults (ages 11-21) struggling with mood and behavioral health concerns. Resource programs are for individuals with emotional-behavioral conditions that require a structured setting, having led to disruptions in home or school environments, or interactions with the juvenile justice system.
Resource’s treatment process is divided into 4 unique phases of treatment: Identify, Connect, Demonstrate, and Contribute. Therapies throughout these stages of treatment include individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.
During this initial phase of treatment, residents work with staff members to understand why they were brought to Resource for care.
This phase of treatment occurs as residents learn new skills and come to understand how to put those skills into action.
In this phase of treatment, residents begin to actually use the skills that they have acquired.
This last phase of treatment requires residents to give back to the community by using skills that they have learned while taking part in pro-social activities.
Resource also provides in-house schooling that is accredited by the Indianapolis Public School System. All classes are led by certified special education teachers and take place for 3 hours each day. Both credit recovery and GED preparation options are afforded to students as well.
Resource accepts all major insurances including Medicaid.
