About Sonoran Behavioral Health II
Positioned along N 89th Avenue in Peoria, Arizona, Sonoran Behavioral Health II (SBH II) serves adults with substance use disorders (SUD) with residential treatment. The center provides individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, trauma-informed care, and coordinated treatment with other healthcare providers. SBH II uses evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and family-focused therapy (FFT).
Spaces for Wellness and Growth
SBH II provides additional services including relapse prevention, stress management, nutrition services, physical health services, independent living skills training, aftercare planning, and job skills training. The center includes a gym with exercise equipment, an outdoor backyard with lounge seating, large umbrellas, a fire pit, and an outdoor ping-pong table. The clinical team is available 24/7, with many treatment services provided on-site to support coordinated care.
