About Savannah MBTC
With an 87% success rate, Savannah Mission Bible Training Center (MBTC) guides men and women through an 8 month residential program that combines Christian discipleship with daily Bible study and household responsibilities. As a division of Mission Teens, Inc., the non-denominational ministry offers the residential program without charge while providing food throughout the year.
Faith-Based Discipleship Program
As part of Mission Teens, they follow a 4-phase discipleship program that increases responsibilities and privileges as residents progress. The program combines Bible study, Christian instruction, and household responsibilities, while senior staff guide residents through each phase and oversee major decisions.
Daily Bible Study and Training
Residents spend each day completing about 5½ hours of Bible study, including a comprehensive study of the New Testament and a general study of the Old Testament, while also carrying out household responsibilities. During the final phase, they counsel one resident each day and submit a report to senior staff.
